Our school, our philosophy, and our mission
Imperial Hotel Management College is an accredited hotel management school based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Founded by a group of dedicated hospitality professionals and experienced educators, we have set a new benchmark in hospitality education.
We believe that to be successful in the hospitality business, one needs to have knowledge of management theory, as well as substantial firsthand knowledge of the practical aspects of hospitality. Our philosophy is to combine these 2 elements in a theory-plus-practice approach, which balances academic learning with hands-on training.
We have partnered with a group of elite hotels and resorts across North America to create what we call a chain of 'teaching hotels' or 'hotel campuses', offering a unique and dynamic Hotel Management Training Program. Students attending our 9-month Diploma Program will be studying and gaining work experience in a fully operational hotel, at our many affiliated 'hotel campuses'.
Our mission is to educate students who are aiming for top careers in the International hospitality industry. We are committed to producing the caliber of graduates that would be eagerly accepted by top hotels and restaurants around the world. Through our emphasis on both academic and practical preparation, we ensure that our graduates are operationally competent and immediately effective on the job.
Imperial Hotel Management College is accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) in British Columbia. We are a client of the Canadian Education Centre Network (CECN), and a member of the following associations and organizations:
